Learning at the Museum
EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
Educational materials have been designed to complement our exhibits. Teaching resources are cross-curricular providing connections to literature, social studies, critical thinking and art, and are adaptive to all learning levels. Tours for all grade levels can be accommodated with hands-on activities as part of the learning experience.
WORKSHOPS
The Museum presents an ancillary program of workshops on related topics to enhance the exhibition experience. The Museum also collaborates with St. Volodymyr Institute and diverse community organizations to present learning opportunities for the public.
SPEAKER SERIES
To enhance the learning experience, the Museum presents lectures given by subject matter experts on topics related to the exhibitions.
RESEARCH
The Museum serves as an information resource for the community. Its library, archives and collections are accessible to students and educators, artists and artisans, authors, the media, cultural organizations and institutions, and individuals interested in Ukrainian or Canadian cultural themes.
