Exhibitions
Exhibits at the Ontario Branch of the Ukrainian Museum of Canada reflect the cultural and historic heritage of Canadians of Ukrainian descent and their contribution to the Canadian mosaic. Each year the Museum presents one main exhibit drawing on its own collections as well as artifacts from community members and other institutions. The Museum endeavors to present themes that are of interest to both the Ukrainian Canadian community and the wider population. The current exhibit is “At Home With Heritage – The John and Mary Yaremko Collection”.
Throughout the year, the Museum also organizes mini traveling exhibits in conjunction with church bazaars, community festivals and organizational conferences and symposia. Also, new acquisitions are featured at special in-house events such as the Museum’s annual spring tea.
